Configuring Code Repository

STAR integrates with GitHub to analyze repositories and create remediation pull requests.

GitHub Integration

STAR connects to GitHub via OAuth for secure and scoped access.

1. In Bright’s Platform, navigate to Settings → STAR
2. On the GitHub Integration Configuration section, click Install.

3. On the open dialog, click Activate.
4. GitHub opens in a different tab to authorize the STAR application.
5. Review permissions and click Install & Authorize
6. After installation, you will be directed to the STAR page on Bright's platform, where you can choose an LLM provider.
