Manually Running a STAR Workflow

Once you've connected repositories to your project, you can manually trigger a STAR workflow to scan for vulnerabilities and generate security fixes.

  1. Navigate to your Project page in Bright's UI
  2. Click on the STAR icon in the top right corner of the page
  1. A modal will appear titled "Start STAR Workflow"

  1. Select the desired code source from the dropdown list

    • The list shows all repositories connected to this project
    • Each repository displays its name and current branch

  2. Click Start to initiate the workflow

  3. The STAR workflow will begin running in the selected code repository

  4. You'll see a confirmation message: "STAR workflow started successfully"

  5. A progress indicator will appear showing the workflow status
