Xygeni
Overview
The Bright <> Xygeni integration allows you to import validated Bright DAST findings into Xygeni, where they can be correlated with additional security signals to improve vulnerability prioritization.
Note: Most of the integration setup is performed within the Xygeni platform. Bright requires minimal configuration.
Prerequisites
Before configuring the integration, ensure that:
- You have administrator access to both Bright and Xygeni.
- You have the required Bright API credentials.
- You have permission to configure integrations in Xygeni.
Configuration
The complete setup process is documented by Xygeni.
For detailed instructions, refer to the official Xygeni documentation: Link
How It Works
After the integration is configured:
- Bright scans your application and identifies validated runtime vulnerabilities.
- Bright sends the findings to Xygeni.
- Xygeni enriches the findings with additional security context.
- The combined information helps security teams prioritize remediation more effectively.
Data Included
The integration supports the following information:
- Validated DAST findings
- Severity
- Finding metadata
- Affected assets
- Additional finding details supported by the integration
Troubleshooting
If Bright findings are not visible in Xygeni:
- Verify that the integration has been configured successfully.
- Confirm that the Bright scan completed successfully.
- Validate your Bright API credentials.
